The are a number of ways to support our fundraising efforts

COUNTRY GROCER - ONGOING FUNDRAISER
If you shop at Country Grocer, please save your receipts and bring them in. We compile and submit them to receive gift cards. This directly goes to buying food for the Kid’s Healthy Eating Project. It's really as simple as that!

MABEL'S LABELS - ONGOING FUNDRAISER
Labeling clothing, water bottle, and shoes is a bit of a chore….but it is really helpful to daycare staff and could prevent the loss of your items. Nanaimo Innovation Academy is register as a non-profit so that 20% of any purchases goes back to the daycare. You can also sign up for a newsletter and save 10% (then just cancel the newsletter afterwards).

THE SOAP EXCHANGE NANAIMO - ONGOING FUNDRAISER
The Soap Exchange is a family-run business in Nanaimo that provides environmentally friendly cleaning products. Here is their website: Soap Exchange Nanaimo
If you buy your laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, hand soap and dish soap at their store at Country Club mall, tell them you support Nanaimo Innovation Academy before they ring it in.
We get 10% of the sales donated to the daycare.
They have a return and reuse program for plastics….and it seems to be cheaper. By puchasing through them you’re helping a local store, reducing waste, and supporting NIA.

COBS DOUGH RISERS - ONGOING FUNDRAISER
Every time you shop at COBS Bread, mention Nanaimo Innovation Academy, and 5% of your purchase is donated back to NIA. The school receives a cheque at the end of the school year that will be used in support of our non-profit. Shop an array of tasty goodies baked fresh each day, and support our daycare and school in the meantime.

BENEVITY - ONGOING FUNDRAISER
Benevity is an organization that connects non-profits and donors. Some large companies have social support/donation programs that allow employees to donate company money to a charity of their choice. A number of companies use Benevity as their platform for finding charities, vetting them, and issuing funds. Employee don’t pay anything; they just decide what charity to support.
If you or someone you know works for any of these companies below or a large company that may have a donation program, have them check if they have an employee donation program….and then ask them to assign their donation to us.
