Nanaimo Innovation Academy is run by the Board of Directors of the Nanaimo Innovation Foundation, a non-profit society.


Any member of the NIA Foundation, in good standing, is eligible to serve on the board. Our Board of Directors may consist of NIA parents, NIA alumni parents, and community leaders.


This is a volunteer board that oversees policy, fundraising, and the annual budget. The board meets once a month to share ideas and suggestions that will encourage ongoing strategic development of the child care facility and school. 

A Parent Flow of Communication has been created so that parents know the appropriate channels of communication about questions or concerns.
