OUR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - POSTPONED

OUR FOREST EXPLORERS PROGRAM - LICENSING PENDING -JAN 1, 2024

We have room for 10 children each day in our Forest Explorers Program. Currently, we are taking new families. Contact admin@nanaimoinnovation.org. We will open the waitlist May 1, 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year.

OUR FOREST PROGRAM - FULL

We have 8 children each day in our 3-5 Forest Program. Currently, we are full and are not taking any additional names on our waitlist. We will reopen the waitlist May 1, 2024.

OUR PRE-K PROGRAM - FULL

We have 16 children each day in our 3-5 Program. Currently, we are full and are not taking any additional names on our waitlist. We will reopen the waitlist May 1, 2024.

FOR UNDER 3 YEARS - FULL

We have two Infant Toddler classes for 8 children in each. Currently, we are full and are not taking any additional names on our waitlist at this time. We will reopen the waitlist May 1, 2024.

WAITLIST PROCEDURES:

We keep our waitlist manageable so that we can realistically predict start times. We typically add not more than 20 families on each program's waitlist.

​

Every April we confirm with current and waitlisted families to confirm their plans for the upcoming school year. If the child care and elementary programs are full for the upcoming year, we add a small number of families to our waitlist in case spots open throughout the year.

​

Our waitlist and applications typically open every May 1 at 8:30am and close it when they fill. 

We post the waitlist request form on our Facebook Page.

We do not add families to our waitlist outside of May 1....unless a program has space available. If there is space, we will open the waitlist on our Facebook Page. 

​

There is a non-refundable $25 waitlist fee. This helps to ensure that we’re communicating with only serious inquires. We contact families in the order of when they joined the waitlist and paid the $25 waitlist fee.

​

When you eventually enroll at Nanaimo Innovation Academy, the $25 fee goes towards the $100 application processing fee.

​

Families who decide to enroll will be required to submit a non-refundable tuition deposit of $500.00 in order to retain the space for their child until the agreed start date. The total amount of the deposit will be used toward the last month’s fees.

We believe in a transparent waitlist process and so at anytime will let you know where you stand on the list.
