The Soap Exchange is a family-run business in Nanaimo that provides environmentally friendly cleaning products. Here is their website: Soap Exchange Nanaimo

If you buy your laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, hand soap and dish soap at their store at Country Club mall, tell them you support Nanaimo Innovation Academy before they ring it in.

We get 10% of the sales donated to the daycare.

They have a return and reuse program for plastics….and it seems to be cheaper. By puchasing through them you’re helping a local store, reducing waste, and supporting NIA.

Win- win!!!

Benevity is an organization that connects non-profits and donors. Some large companies have social support/donation programs that allow employees to donate company money to a charity of their choice. A number of companies use Benevity as their platform for finding charities, vetting them, and issuing funds. Employee don’t pay anything; they just decide what charity to support.

If you or someone you know works for any of these companies below or a large company that may have a donation program, have them check if they have an employee donation program….and then ask them to assign their donation to us.

Here are some companies that have donation programs with Benevity—Toyota, Nordstrom, Jacobs, Starbucks, Levi’s, Coca Cola, Twitter, Google, Visa, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), John Deere, Pfizer, Microsoft, Okta, Prudential, Suncor.
